Our Update in Response to COVID-19

In light of the UK Government’s advice on the evening of Monday 16th March that advises the population to implement social distancing measures and avoid all unnecessary travel we, as a business, have decided to take some precautionary measures.

We want to assure all of our clients that both Somerset Consult and our sister company, Somerset Estates are still open for business as usual. But as our head office is located in Central London, staff and colleagues are recommended to work remotely going forward until further notice. This will also apply to meetings which can be conducted over conference call or video call. Fortunately, we are able to conduct our services in this way, whilst still maintaining seamless delivery and dedication to our clients.

Whilst the landlines telephone numbers are diverted please can we ask that, where possible, you to call the individual member of staff directly on their mobile (please see their email signature) if you need to speak to them on the telephone. Alternatively please call Philippa Somerset directly on +44 7904 607136.

For any property emergencies we are still on call. All staff and contractors have been instructed to take the necessary precautions in respect of sanitation. This includes regular hand washing, the use of antiseptic wipes, hand sanitisers, hand wash and gloves, as well as keeping at a distance of up to 2 meters of any other person where possible, and adopting the catch, bin and kill government guidance at all times.
